Jordan's Prime Minister : The government cooperates with unions

Jordan's government is interested in maintaining unlimited cooperation will all professional associations in Jordan, Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Abdul Salam al-Majali said. "Any amendments in laws related to the associations will not be made without their participation," Majali stated upon receiving engineers newly elected council.
The president and the council members of the Engineers Association attended the meeting.
Majali urged strong cooperation between the professional unions and the government institutions as a means to better serve of the national interests. The newly-elected chief of the Engineers Union, Husni Abu Ghaida, reviewed the union's demands to continue its tasks.
The ex-chief of the association, Leith Shbeilat, was charged of launching demonstrations in Maan aimed at destabilizing the country.
