Portugal FM in Tunisia for boosting relations

Portugese Foreign Minister Jaime Gama arrived in Tunisia on Sunday for a three-day visit during which he will discuss with his Tunisian counterpart, Saeed Bin Moustafa, means of strengthening and consolidating friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries.
Portugal is the second EU member to ratify the European-Partnership association agreement with Tunisia. In addition, the two countries are linked by several agreements monitored by the Tunisian-Portuguese joint committee, which will convene its third session this year on the level of foreign ministers.
Portugal finances some 13 research projects in Tunisia in marine, engineering, agricultural and technological researches.
