Negotiations between Spain and Algeria

Discussions between Algeria and Spain are currently underway to enhance bilateral relations and combat terrorism.
Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf will meet with his Spanish counterpart Abel Matutes to inform him about the latest steps taken by the Algerian government to combat terrorism.
Algerian diplomatic sources said the Algerian foreign minister will ask his Spanish counterpart to deliver Algeria's view to the European Union.
The Algerian minister also asked the Spanish government to try to convince European parties that shelter expatriate terrorists and expatriates who are planning terrorist operations to present these terrorists for trial.
