Mobile phones coming to Tunisia as costs drop

The Tunisian communications corporation recently reduced the cost of telephone calls by amounts varying from 10% to 50%.
Costs on domestic phone calls were reduced between 14 and 15% according to distance and cost of calls to European Union countries were cut by 14%. The rate of reduction reached 28% on calls to countries in the Middle East, and 44 to 50% on calls to African countries.
Tunisia is expected to start using mobile phones in March and the price of enrollment is $130 US plus service costs.
