Exhibition of Saudi industries in Sanaa
Saudi Arabia-Yemen, Economics, 2/26/1998

The development center for exports and the council of the commercial industrial chambers will arrange a meeting in coordination with the Saudi Exhibitions Company during an exhibition of Saudi products and industries under the slogan "Made in Saudi Arabia" in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, from February 26 until April 1.

Engineer Fahed Al-Salmi, assistant to the council's secretary-general, said this exhibition will have positive effects enhancing commercial exchange between Saudi Arabia and Yemen, in addition to creating a new base for joint interests between the two countries.

The exhibition will be comprised of products from more than 70 companies and a national factory. The exhibition will showcase the development of Saudi industries, which allows them to compete.

Commercial exchange between Yemen and Saudi Arabian is increasing, as Saudi exports to Yemen were worth $236 million in 1996.
