Jordan calls for using weapons inspection accord

Jordan called for using the weapons inspection accord to get to the root causes of the crisis involving Iraqi government, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Information Abdullah Nusour told reporters. "Work should concentrate on finding ways to remove the causes the Iraqi government standoff against the UN," he said.
"The situation is still grave, and it all depends on how to deal with the accord and the arrangements involved," Nusour told reporters following a cabinet meeting.
King Hussein is now involved in talks with Arab leaders to focus attention on putting the peace process back on track, he said.
The Jordanian Cabinet discussed the diplomatic efforts on national,regional and international levels to defuse Iraqi crisis.
