Jordan - Iran talk of improving tourism

Jordan's Crown Prince Hassan discussed with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Dr. Mohammed Sader bilateral relations between Jordan and Iran, the UN agreement reached with Baghdad and the results of the Islamic conference held in Tehran late last year.
In the course of his meeting with Jordan's Prime Minister Dr. Abdul-Salam al-Majali, the Iranian envoy said that his country was seeking to further its relations with Jordan and to exchange views with Amman on all related issues, especially the Iraqi developments.
Meanwhile a delegation of Iranian tourism officials discussed with their counterparts in Amman means of reactivating tourism between the two nations by encouraging the movement of tourists between the two nations.
The head of the Iranian delegation, Ali Gankhari, told reporters after the meeting that tourism activities with Jordan would start in the near future. "The relations between the two countries will help this sort of activities," he stated.
