New secretary-general for Moroccan Independence Party

The national council of the Moroccan opposition Independence Party unanimously elected lawyer Abbas al-Fasi as a new secretary for the party, succeeding Muhammad Bu Setta. Al-Fasi (59) was elected at the conclusion of deliberations of the party's 13th ordinary conference.
