Egypt-Israel, Politics, 2/20/1998
Israeli radio reported yesterday that the Israeli prime minister's advisor for international affairs, will arrive in Cairo today to discuss convicted Israeli spy Azam Azam's case and meet with Azam in prison.
Egypt had previously refused Israeli's demands that Azam be released. Egyptian authorities said these demands did not affect the Egyptian court's judgment.
News reports in Cairo frequently state that Egypt receives new demands from Israel to release Azam, who is serving a prison sentence in Egypt.
