Symposium to mark 40th anniversary of Egyptian-Syrian unity

The Egyptian Committee for Solidarity will hold a two-day symposium on the horizons of joint Arab efforts on March 2, to mark the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Egyptian - Syrian unity.
Participating in the symposium, will be a number of cultural officials and Arab writers, foremost among which are Syrian Minister of Culture Nagah al-Attar, Palestinian Education Minister Dr. Hanan Ashrawi, former Jordanian information minister Leila Sharaf, former minister of economy Seif El-Garwan, and secretary-general of the Arab thought forum in Oman, Dr. Ali Atiqa.
