Moussa meets with African economic delegation

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa received Kiri Mopondi, the executive secretary of the development group in Southern Africa (SADK), and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting Cairo at Moussa's invitation.
Through the meeting they discussed methods of enhancing relations and cooperation between Egypt and SADK in different fields. The two sides focused on encouraging the private sector in Egypt and member countries to establish joint projects. The talks also dealt with cooperation in human resources, development and exchanging experts within the activities of the Egyptian Fund for Technical Cooperation with Africa.
SADK comprises14 countries, including South Africa, who is currently heading the organization. The volume of the trade amongst the member states is $45 billion annually. The cooperation with SADK is a step that will result in Egypt's joining the joint market in southeast Africa COMESA(KOMISA).
