Israeli warplanes violate Lebanese airspace

Israeli warplanes on Wednesday continued to penetrate Lebanese airspace. On Wednesday morning Israeli planes flew at low altitudes over the western sector of south Lebanon and the city of Tyre.

Lebanese security sources said Lebanon's air space witnessed overnight Tuesday intensified mock raids carried out by Israeli jets over the central and Western sectors.

Israeli military gunboats cruised of the southern shores of the city of Tyre.

Meanwhile, a Lebanese supply and food convoy crossed into the occupied strip of south Lebanon accompanied by a Lebanese Red Cross Association delegation.

South Lebanon's council said Lahd's militia took a portion of the aid before allowing the convoy to cross Kafer Tabniet crossing. The aid was distributed to the citizens of Jarmaq al-Rihan; al-Aysheya, al-Jarira, Armati, al-Qatrani, Marwahin, Ramya, Tair Harfa, Shihin, al-Jibin, and Um al-Tout village.
