Qatari cabinet stresses diplomatic settlement to Iraqi crisis

In its meeting Wednesday, the Qatari cabinet asserted the need to support diplomatic efforts to settle the crisis between Iraq and the UN, The Qatari News Agency reported.
The Qatari News Agency said the Cabinet stressed the need to give these efforts a chance to lift the sufferings of the people of Iraq and preserve Iraq's unity and territorial integrity and as well as to spare the region further tensions.
Meanwhile, Qatar's foreign minister informed the cabinet of the results of his tour to Iraq and his talks with UN secretary-general in this respect.
