Algerian security forces confront terrorist elements

Members of the Armed Islamic Group were killed in an operation carried out by the Algerian government on El-Giafi camps at Saida in western Algeria.

Security sources said that Algerian forces succeeded in infiltrating the terrorist group. One of the repentant terrorists presented information to the forces in the region of Saida. The security forces also succeeded in capturing the terrorist Taddi Kadour.

Meanwhile, Algerian forces were able to combat terrorists in Meshdalaha at Tiesmlet, killing 3 terrorists in Belira state, and Sikikda state after information was presented by citizens of terrorist groups that were blackmailing them.

Algeria had viewed the handover of large number of terrorists announcing their repentance foremost amongst them is Mostafa Kebir brother of Rabeh Kebir the head of the executive department for the prohibited Islamic Salvation Front.
