Lebanese resistance attacks Israeli positions

Israeli troops early Tuesday shelled al-Zahrani riverbed, a Lebanese army barracks in Nabatieh and the outskirts of Kafer Rumman, Habboush and Arab Saleem. In retaliation, the Lebanese national resistance carried out a number of resistance operations against Israeli positions in south Lebanon.
In a statement on Tuesday the Lebanese national resistance said a group of from the resistance attacked occupation positions in Dabshe, al-Teiben, and Markaba areas, scoring direct hits against the Israeli positions.
Reports from south Lebanon said shelling caused material damage in the targeted areas. A Lebanese woman was wounded and a number of Lebanese houses were damaged as a result of the Israeli shelling of al-Nabatieh Fouka town.
Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes carried out mock raids at low altitudes over al-Nabatieh and al-Tuffah districts. Lebanese anti-aircraft fire intercepted the Israeli planes.
In another development, the committee for monitoring the implementation of "April Understanding" held a meeting at the headquarters of the UN Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL) in the border town of Naqoura. The committee discussed three Lebanese complaints protesting Israeli shelling of the Lebanese civilian Namir Hashem in Nabatieh, wounding the Lebanese civilian Hassan Ali Jammoul in Habboush, and burning a number of Lebanese houses during the Israeli bombardment of Kafer Rumman town.
