Islamists on the agenda of German minister's visit Sudan

Sources at the German Foreign Ministry said that the German foreign affairs minister, Helmut Schafer, will visit Khartoum between Tuesday and Friday, the first visit of a German government official in 10 years.
The German minister is scheduled to meet with officials in the ruling military council in Sudan and opposition representatives. On Friday he will head to Nairobi for talks with representatives of the Sudan People's Liberation Army.
The German minister will discuss during his talks Sudanese obstacles impeding activities of humanitarian organizations, relations between Sudanese leaders and extremists Islamists in other countries, especially in Algeria.
