Hamas threatens to attack Israeli targets if US strikes Iraq

Founder of the Palestinian National Resistance Movement (Hamas) Sheikh Ahmad Yassin today threatened to take revenge against Israeli targets if Iraq is exposed to a US attack.
In statements to the Jordanian daily al-Doustor, Sheikh Yassin said the Hamas military wing, known as Ezzeddine al-Qassam, is ready to launch armed operations against Israeli targets inside Israel just to repel the possible US strike on Iraq.
"Our armed answer inside Israel to any US attack on Iraq is but our right to defend our homelands," he said.
