300 Egyptian journalists to stage strike in support of Baghdad

The Egyptian union of journalists in solidarity with the Iraqis will hold a strike this coming Saturday from 1 a.m to 4 a.m to protest US threats of a military strike against Iraq.
The committee for Arab affairs in the organization confirmed in its meeting that a delegation of journalists, will be formed to submit a denouncement statement to the US embassy.
The committee called for forming a delegation comprised of more than 300 journalist heading to Baghdad and residing there until danger is diminished for the Iraqi people, and each journalist will donate a day's wage to buy medicine, milk and food, and send it to the Iraqi children to express the solidarity of the Egyptian people with them.
