Lebanese resistance mounts escalation against occupation

Lebanese national resistance forces on Monday morning attacked an Israeli military position in al-Taibeh district. The resistance said in a statement that rockets and machine-gun fire scored direct hits on the position.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation troops shelled by heavy artillery the Slouqi and Hujair valley. News reports from south Lebanon said the Israeli bombardment caused material damage.
Meanwhile, Israeli war planes carried out mock raids over vast areas of south Lebanon, including Sidon and Tyre, and adjacent areas, namely al-Nabatieh, the al-Tuffah district and al-Zahrani.
Lebanese anti-aircraft guns fired at the Israeli warplanes which ejected several heat balloons to avoid being hit.
