Egypt, Business, 2/17/1998

An Egyptian company for chemical industries has started to bury toxic chemical waste at a site, constructed with a non-refundable German grant of almost 20 million German marks, made especially for containing this waste.

The site is in Alam-El-Afrag region south east Al-Haham city, 80 kilometers away from the company's sites in Almax region west Alexandria city.

It was decided, that the waste would be buried in concrete blocks to be transported to the site to prevent any pollution.
