Jordan, Politics, 2/14/1998
A government source told ArabicNews.com that Jordan's Crown Prince Hassan informed Prime Minister Abdel Salam al-Majali of his approval of ministerial changes, especially in the Economy Ministry.
This change is expected to be announced in the next few days, and six other ministerial assignments are also likely to be changed.
The sources said the current prime minister would not be repalced, while they said the current chairman of the Royal Divan, On El-Hadawnah, and the deputy of the previous prime minister, Abdel Raouf El-Rowaidah, are candidates to gain ministerial posts.
