Israeli to withdraw from Lebanon some say

Arab sources told ArabicNews.com that Israel will try, in coordination with the U.S., to partially implement UN resolution 425, while putting its own conditions on the withdrawal, instead full adherence to the resolution.

UN resolution number 425 calls for the full and unconditional withdrawal of Israel from Lebanon, where Israel occupies a large part of south Lebanon.

The sources added that Israel may make this move because of unimplemented UN demands for Israeli withdrawl from the south Lebanese that has coincided with Washington's threats to strike at Iraq due to Iraq's non-implementation of UN Security Council resolutions.

The sources expect that Israel may execute a partial withdrawal from occupied areas in south Lebanon to coincide with the final arrangements for a US strike against Iraq.

Meanwhile, Syria and Lebanon are taking security precautions.
