French foreign minister to visit Middle East in March

French Foreign Minister Hubert Vedrine will travel on March 8 to the Middle East. Vedrine will meet with Arab ministers, including Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa, Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal, Jordanian Foreign Minister al-Taraunah, and Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa, as well as Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.
Vedrine will also discuss with the secretary-general of the Arab League, Esmat Abdel Meguid, the outcome of the communications between France and the United Nations aimed at arriving at a peaceful solution to the Iraqi crisis with the United Nations.
