Sudan opposes military attack on Iraq, Palestinian Fatah agrees

The Sudanese Press Union yesterday started a campaign to gather millions of signatures expressing opposition to a US military strike against Iraq.
El-Nagib Kamer El-Din, the Sudanese News Agency's director general said that the aim of this campaign was to express the Sudanese nation and government's refusal of sanctions levied against Arab countries.
The Palestinian Fatah movement also announced its opposition of any US military operation against Iraq.
The movement called for continuing diplomatic efforts to find a solution for the current crisis facing the Iraq people.
