Prince of Qatar meets with his dad

A Qatari diplomatic source said today that the ruler of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa al-Thani, met on Monday in Saudi Arabia with his father, Sheikh Khalifa Bin Hamad al-Thani. In a statement to AFP the source added that the hour-long meeting was warm.
Sheikh Hamad started on Monday a surprising visit to Saudi Arabia, during which he discussed with Saudi King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz the Iraqi crisis.
It is wort noting that the Emir of Qatar has met with his father repeatedly since the two men reconciled in January 1997. Their last meeting was in London in November 1997.
