Sheikh Ahmed Yassin's visit to Cairo waiting for Israel's approval

The tour of Hamas spiritual leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin was canceled after it was scheduled to start this week in Cairo and Saudi Arabia when Israel refused to allow 4 of his assistants to accompany him.
Hamas spokesman Abdel Aziz El-Rantis, one of the four officials who would have accompanied Shiekh Yassin said that Sheikh Yassin will never travel as long as this condition remains.
El-Rantis asked the Palestinian authorities to intercede to persuade Israel to allow Sheikh Yassin and his 4 assistants to travel to Cairo.
The Palestinian ambassador at Cairo, Zohdi El-Kadrah, criticized the Israeli decision preventing Shiekh Yassin from travelling.
