Kuwait hopes Iraqi crisis will be resolved through peaceful means

Ruler of Kuwait Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah today met with the US Defense Secretary William Cohen.
Talks dealt with the latest developments concerning the current crisis involving Iraq in the Gulf region and the possibility of using military strikes in case diplomatic efforts fail to dissolve the crisis.
Meanwhile, Kuwaiti Information Minister Sheikh Saud Nasser al-Sabah today expressed hopes that the Iraqi crisis will be resolved through diplomatic and peaceful means to avoid destruction and catastrophe.
