Joint bank established between Egypt and Argentina to finance exports

Dr. Ahmed El-Goweili, the Egyptian minister of commerce and supply, said Egypt has agreed with Argentina to establish a joint bank to finance exports between the two countries, also to increase commercial exchange between them.
The states also agreed to establish joint investment projects in textiles, chemicals, fertilizers, perfumes, crafts and medicines.
He said Egypt imports meats from Argentina because of its safety record on animal diseases especially mad cow disease.
He added that the commercial agreement with Argentina included discussing methods of enhancing means of air and marine transport to facilitate movements of goods and individuals.
