Conference to discuss influence of terrorism on labor

A meeting of the Arab conference for the Arab Labor Organization will be held next month in Luxor, in southern Egypt, under the auspices of Egyptian Prime Minister Kamal El-Ganzouri.

The conference will also include ministers of labor, heads of labor organizations, and businessmen from Arab countries.

The week-long conference will discuss the influence of terrorism on labor issues and economic development, and they will discuss an Arab project to fight terrorism. It will also address creating an activity plan for the organization and its incorporation of labor training and retraining, safety, vocational health, protecting women laborers and child labor.

The Arab Labor Organization requested the Arab states to ratify during the convention a joint Arab labor charter to provide the necessary protection for the Arab labor market.
