Farouk Qaddoumi to visit Damascus this week

Palestinian sources told ArabicNews.com that Farouk Qaddoumi, the chairman of the political circle in the Palestinian Liberation Organization, will visit Damascus on Monday within annual consultations between the two sides.
Sources added, that Qaddoumi will meet with Syrian Vice-President Abdul Halim Khaddam and Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa. Qaddoumi will inform them of the results of the most recent talks of Palestinian President Yasser Arafat in Washington and the developments on the Palestinian path.
Meanwhile the Islamic resistance movement, Hamas, described the death of Nasser Hussein Salah Al Haroub in a Palestinian jail in Dora village near El-Galili as "a new crime to be added at a black record."
