Sudan arrests rebel officers

Sudanese Authorities have arrested several military officers working for Lt. Gen. Karbino Kawanin who led the rebellion against the city of Wau in South Sudan. These officers were arrested after the authorities obtained evidence of their participation in recent incidents which took place in Wau.
Meanwhile, Sudanese security sources said that security forces in the state of Kasla arrested several people belonging to rebel forces led by John Garang. The rebels possessed explosives and light weapons to carry out violence and acts of destruction inside Sudanese cities.
