Mediterranean group in Luxor today

Ambassador Muhammad Fathi El-Shazli, Egypt's deputy foreign minister for European affairs, will deliver Egypt's address today at the inauguration in Luxor of the annual meeting of the Mediterranean Forum, headed by Egypt. The forum's work will last one day, and 11 countries will participate.
The ambassador added that the group chose Luxor as the site for this meeting for its position in international folklore.
He also said the forum will consider manufacturing ideas between the member states, to activate cooperation among them within comprehensive European-Mediterranean cooperation through the declaration of Barcelona.
The Luxor meeting will be attended by 11 countries: Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Malta, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco.
