Syria, Iran committee for boosting economic ties

In a meeting chaired by the two countries' economy ministers, the Syrian-Iranian joint committee on Tuesday discussed economic relations between Syria and Iran and means of developing them for the benefit of the two countries.
Reviewed were agreements already reached by the two sides pertaining to developing commercial exchange, investment and joint venture projects.
A number of economic agreements will be signed during the visit of the Iranian delegation to the country.
