Libya, Sudan, Niger presidents meet on African issues

Libyan President Moammar Gaddafi on Tuesday held a closed-door meeting with Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir and the president of the Republic of Niger, Ibrahim Minasra.
Presidents al-Bashir and Minasra arrived in Tripoli earlier in the day to take part in the works of the Afro - Arab summit of the states bordering the Sahara.
Meanwhile, Tunisia's minister of state for foreign affairs, al-Sadiq Fayyaleh, described the Afro-Arab summit for the Sahara-bordering states as a very important event concerning Afro-Arab solidarity and the region as a whole. In an arrival statement in Tripoli to take part in the meeting the Tunisian official praised relations between Libya and Tunisia.
