Algeria, Jordan for promoting bilateral relations

Jordan's Prime Minister Dr. Abdul Salam al-Majali today discussed with the Algerian minister of information and culture, Hamzawi Habib Shaqi, current developments in the region, Arab conditions, incidents taking place in Algeria, means of supporting bilateral relations and reviving agreements signed between the two countries.
Discussions also dealt with preparations for the meetings of the Algerian- Jordanian joint higher committee, to be chaired by the two countries' premiers by the beginning of March.
Earlier, a round of talks was held between the Algerian minister and Jordan's minister of culture and youth, Dr. Qasem Abu Ein. Talks centered on means of boosting cultural cooperation between the two countries.
