Egypt, Iran for boosting bilateral relations

The chairman of the Federation of the Egyptian Industries, Abdul Mun'im al-Saudi, said the visit he will make together with an industrial delegation on February 13 to Iran would help return economic relations between Iran and Egypt to what these relations have been before 1980.
In a statement to Monte Carlo radio on Tuesday, al-Saudi described his visit to Iran as a business visit, aimed at conducting a field study on cooperation conditions and the Iranian market concerning the opening of markets to Egyptian products.
He added that Egypt will export to Iran foodstuffs, medicines, textiles and cars, whereas Iranian foodstuffs and other products will be exported to Egypt in return.
