More setters to come to Hebron area
Palestine-Israel, Local, 2/4/1998
Israel is reportedly heading to increase the number of Jewish settlers in the settlement bloc of Gush Etzion near Hebron and Efrat on the road between Bethlehem to Hebron to 50,000 within a period of ten years.
Israeli sources noted that the current population of the two settlements does not exceed 13,000 and said the move is meant to enhance the presence of Jewish settlers in the southern parts of the West Bank, regardless of the peace process with the Palestinians.
