Turkish initiative to end Iraqi crisis

Spokesman for the Turkish Foreign Ministry Najati Otkan said on Monday that Turkey's Foreign Minister Ismail Cim will discuss with Iraqi officials during his visit to Baghdad the participation of neighboring countries, namely Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iran and Jordan, in the Turkish initiative to end the Iraqi crisis. In press statements on Monday, Cim said Turkey has informed neighboring countries of this initiative and is awaiting the reply.
