Omani delegation visits Iran

A commercial delegation from Oman headed by the chairman of the Omani commercial and industrial chamber, Salem Ben Galal El.Khalili, will visit Iran on February 7.
The Omani delegation comprises 30 businessmen, representing contractor companies, owners of material industries, export and import, building substances, the carpet industry, fishing tools, textiles, perfumes and chemical substances.
The visit aims at increasing commercial exchange between Oman and Iran and increasing joint investment.
The joint committees within the visit will hold a meeting between the countries' private sectors in order to discuss joint investment opportunities and submitting its findings to the joint Iranian and Omani committee.
It was said that there is continuous commercial competition between the two countries and there is a current study concerning the establishment of joint investment in petroleum.
