Egyptian asks Mexico for clarifications in diplomat's death

The Egyptian security body began communication with its counterpart in Mexico through the foreign minister to learn the details of the mysterious killing of a diplomat from the Egyptian embassy in Mexico, the identity of those who did the killing and their intentions.
Members of the victim's family, who were in the diplomat's car when it was attacked in Mexico, arrived early yesterday in Cairo and were received by ambassador's from the Egyptian foreign ministry.
The parents of the Egyptian diplomat were "severly traumatized" by the incident, and arrived in Egypt in wheelchairs and the wife was carried to the hospital for treatment.
The diplomat's father said that when his son, Mohamed Ismael Sadek, was appointed in the Foreign Ministry, he worked for 4 years in Libya, then later he worked as second secretary for the Egyptian embassy in Mexico.
Sadek's father said he had traveled to Mexico a week before the accident where his wife, his son and his daughter-in-law accompanied him to spend their Lesser Bairam vacation.
Meanwhile the Mexican authorities are investigating the incident.
