Talks between French Foreign Minister Vedrine and US Secretary of State Albright ended with France's statement that "all options remain open" to resolve the Iraq situation, although use of diplomacy was stressed, Miami Herald reported. Albright held her next round of talks in Madrid with Russian Foreign Minister Yevegny Primakov.
