On Eid al-Fitr Saudi Arabia calls for a just peace

Saudi Arabia has expressed hope that security and stability will be realized in the world, especially in the Middle East, through establishing just and comprehensive peace.
King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia and Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, who is also the Deputy Premier and chief of the Saudi National Guard, said in a joint speech on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr that Arab, Islamic and international efforts are united so as to attain peace, security and stability in the region.
They reiterated Saudi Arabia's interest in enhancing solidarity among Arab states and for establishing just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East. They expressed deep regret for the bloody acts being carried out in a number of Islamic states and called for a return to the teachings of Islam.
