Meetings of Moroccan-Egyptian higher committee soon

The chair of the Egyptian-Moroccan association, Ibrahim Abu Omayra, stated that members of the association will meet next Tuesday to discuss the preparations for the visit of Morocco's King Hassan II to Egypt, which will take place at the beginning of February.

The Egyptian-Moroccan Free Trade Zone Agreement (EMFTZA) is scheduled to be signed during the King's visit.

Abu Omayra added that the association was formed to follow up the implementation of the articles of the EMFTZA. It has been agreed upon that the founders of the Egyptian-Moroccan holding company will be 20 members from the businessmen in the two countries.

He said holding a Moroccan Week will be discussed during the meetings of the Egyptian-Moroccan higher committee. Meetings between businessmen from the two countries will be organized, during which investment opportunities in the two countries will be discussed in addition to signing a protocol to set up the proposed joint holding company.
