Turkey, India, Malaysia and Japan buy more Egyptian cotton

The Egyptian Minister of Trade and Supply Dr. Ahmed Goweily said Turkey, India, and Malaysia requested to buy additional volumes of Egyptian cotton.
He added that Turkey signed a contract through which it will buy 790 hundredweight of cotton which makes the total volume of cotton imported by Turkey during the new season reach 168,388 hundredweight.
The total volume of the Indian purchases from the Egyptian cotton reached 172,671 hundredweight. Japan bought 420 hundredweight this week, thus the total volume of the Japanese cotton purchases of the Egyptian cotton reached 114,915 hundredweight. Malaysia asked to buy 2,000 hundredweight of cotton.
