Iranian President calls for Muslim solidarity

As chairman of the Organization of the Islamic Conference Iranian President Muhammad Khatami on Wednesday addressed a message to the Islamic world on the occasion of al-Fitr feast in which he called them to commit to the gains scored by the recent OIC summit in Tehran.
He urged Islamic states to take tangible measures to raise their people's standards of living as well as to maintain solidarity and cooperation among the Islamic states to settle their disputes and achieve peaceful coexistence.
