3 Latin American leaders to visit Egypt

Egypt's growing cooperation with Latin American is signaled by upcoming visits to be paid separately by three heads of state from Latin American to Cairo.
President Carlos Menem of Argentina is due in Egypt on February 4 for talks with President Hosni Mubarak. Menem will attend an opening ceremony for a new Egyptian nuclear plant set up jointly with Argentina.
Meanwhile President Julio Sanguinetti of Uruguay will visit Egypt next March, sources at the Uruguayan embassy in Cairo said.
The third visit will be paid by Panamanian President Ernesto Perez, according to diplomatic Panamanian sources in Cairo, Al-Ahrar daily reported.
