Palestinian state... soon

An aide to Palestinian president Yasser Arafat yesterday said an independent Palestinian state would be realized soon. Ahmad Abdel Rahman, secretary-general of the Palestinian cabinet, said the interim period set by the PLO-Israeli Oslo accord ends in mid-1999.
The international situation supports the Palestinian case. Israeli has become internationally isolated due to its procrastination policy.
