Oral arguments between Yemen and Eritrea will begin Monday in the British capital concerning Henish Island, which was occupied by Eritrea on December 15, 1995.
Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr. Abd El-Karim El-Iryani left Sanaa for London in order to lead his country's delegation before an international arbitration committee the states agreed to from in 1996 to settle the dispute between Yemen and Eritrea concerning the island and also to specify marine borders between the countries.
Iryani was accompanied by Minister of Justice Ismail El-Wazir, Minister of Legal Affairs Abdallah Ghanem, members of the deputies council administration and a number of advisors in legal affairs.
