Arafat tours Maghrib states

Algerian President Liamine Zeroual on Sunday met with Palestinian President Yasser Arafat during his visit to Algeria.
In a statement to reporters following the meeting, Arafat said he briefed President Zeroual on the results of his visit to Washington, which he described as of no positive results because of the Israeli Premier's inflexible position. Arafat added that Netanyahu did not propose anything new.
Moroccan King Hassan II met with Arafat on Saturday night.
In a statement, a senior Moroccan official said the meeting dealt with the current stalemate the Middle East peace process faces and the talks Arafat held in Washington. Arafat also visited Mauritania, and his current visit will cover North African and European states.
