Assad unhappy with America's negligence of Syrian peace track

Press sources reported unhappiness by Syrian President Hafez al-Assad toward US negligence of the Syrian peace tack for the past two years.
The sources added that this unhappiness appeared during Assad's meeting with 3 members of the US congress, who asked Assad to clarify the Syrian role in supporting Lebanon.
The congressmen suggested that President Assad address a speech to the American people in which he could explain his views, exactly as Iranian President Mohamed Khatami did.
